Computers are awesome and are doing some great things to advance our society.
For instance, when marketing your property, I can enter your rental homes information into 1 database and with two clicks of a mouse button, I can migrate the marketing information to over 25 of the top rental marketing sights automatically.
Want to check a fine point in your lease? Clients can log into our web portal 24 hours a day, check documents from any computer or mobile device with internet access.
However when a tenant prospect called recently and celebrated the fact that she had actually gotten a-hold of a “Human being” during her extensive search for her next rental property it gave me pause.
Are my competitors really trying to manage your home exclusively with “computers?”
Sadly, when a tenant prospect is calling my competition, they’re most likely to reach a voice mail box and asked to leave a message.
At RPM South Orlando they’re most likely to reach a person who can answer questions, schedule showings, pre-qualify them, or have a real conversation!
This begs the question, what is going to happen if a pipe bursts in the wall in the middle of the night?
How will my competitors’ computer react to THAT situation?
“Please leave a message at the tone . . .”
However, with my former law enforcement training, I generally react to middle of the night calls with “What’s your emergency!”
So as you decide which Property Manager to select, what kind of response would you prefer?
