Check Smoke and Carbon Monoxide monthly to make sure they are in working order. Check both battery operated and hard wired detectors should be tested. Install smoke alarms in every bedroom, outside each sleeping area and on every level of your home. Smoke alarms have a useful life of about 10 years.
